Hi, I am Kerry Austin.
I am an artist, teacher, motivator, wife & mother.
Living on the shores of Moreton Bay Queensland with its shimmering waters and gusty winds, my large scale artworks are a reflection of my current environment. The fluidity of my everyday has produced my love of the nature of Inks & flowing Acrylics & Watercolours.
I own & operate a small Gallery on Moreton Bay where I exhibit my artworks, along with other local artists and photographers.
I also conducts art workshops, seminars and classes and produce curriculum for these. I have taught thousands of people during my career and just love seeing students come to life as they learn to explore their own creativity.
My works are held in numerous domestic and commercial premises. I also work on other projects such as the collaborative mural at Marycrest, St Vincents Hospital, Brisbane which I designed to be created with the inclusion of patients participation.
I have donated artworks to various organisations that are important to me including the Leukemia Foundation, Destiny Rescue Organisation, Worship Centre, Brisbane as well as various leaders and individuals.
